1. Introduction
Bizzy respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, and the choices you have. By using the Bizzy mobile application or website (the “Service”), you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, discontinue use immediately.
The Service is associated with three separate legal entities (collectively, “Bizzy Entities”):
– Bizzy Holdings LLC (“Bizzy Holdings”) owns the Bizzy platform technology, software, brand, and intellectual property and provides the technology platform.
– Bizzy Deals LLC (“Bizzy Deals”) provides deal related services, including subscriptions, Deal access, Deal benefits, Parent Pay, and Deal related Promo Codes.
– Bizzy Ticketing LLC (“Bizzy Ticketing”) provides ticketing and Event access services and ticketing related Promo Codes.
Depending on what you use (Deals, Ticketing, or both), your information may be processed by one or more Bizzy Entities.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the data necessary to operate and improve Bizzy:
Category: Account Information
Examples: Name, email, school affiliation and or student status
Why we collect: Create and manage your account, verify eligibility
Category: Ticketing Information
Examples: Events viewed, tickets purchased, ticket order identifiers, entry related confirmations, Promo Codes used for ticketing
Why we collect: Provide ticketing access, send confirmations, prevent fraud, support disputes
Category: Payment and Billing Information
Examples: Last 4 digits of card, card type, billing ZIP postal code, Stripe and or Apple transaction IDs; full card data is never stored by Bizzy
Why we collect: Process payments, manage recurring billing, issue receipts, prevent fraud
Category: Usage Data
Examples: Deals viewed, redeemed, clickstreams, in app interactions
Why we collect: Personalize Deals and Events, improve product, analytics
Category: Device Data
Examples: Device model, OS version, crash logs, IP address
Why we collect: App performance, diagnostics, security
Category: Marketing Preferences
Examples: Opt in opt out status for email, SMS, push
Why we collect: Respect your communication choices
Category: Chatbot Messages (if used)
Examples: Messages you type into our chatbot and the chatbot responses
Why we collect: Customer support, troubleshooting, safety, product improvement
You may choose not to provide certain data, but some features may become unavailable.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use collected data to:
– Provide and operate the Service and process transactions
– Verify eligibility for student only or age restricted Deals or Events
– Personalize Deal and Event recommendations and user experience
– Send communications: transactional receipts, ticket confirmations, security alerts, price change or renewal notices (mandatory); marketing emails, SMS, push offers (opt out available)
– Detect and prevent fraud and enforce our Terms of Service
– Comply with legal obligations such as tax and accounting rules
4. Payment Processing and Third Party Sharing
Payments are routed through secure third party payment processors such as Stripe and Apple In App Purchases. Bizzy never stores full card numbers or CVV codes.
We share Payment and Billing Information only with such processors and fraud screening providers (for example Stripe fraud tools) as necessary to complete your purchase and detect suspicious activity.
Ticketing transactions may require sharing limited ticket order information with Event Operators or venues to facilitate entry, verify ticket validity, and resolve disputes.
Limited data (device identifiers, IP, email hash) may be sent to analytics and performance partners strictly for product improvement, stability, and fraud prevention.
Chatbot and AI Provider: If you use our chatbot, your messages and related context may be sent to our AI service provider (OpenAI, using a ChatGPT 4 class model) to generate a response. Do not submit sensitive personal information through the chatbot (for example passwords, full payment card details, government IDs). We do not intentionally send full card numbers or CVV to the chatbot or AI provider.
We may disclose information if required by law, court order, to enforce our rights, or in connection with a business transfer (merger, acquisition, asset sale).
Bizzy does not sell personal data.
5. Security and Data Storage
Encryption: We use industry standard encryption in transit for data sent between your device and our servers. Payment data is handled and stored solely by our payment processors using their own security safeguards.
Data Retention: Transaction records are retained up to seven (7) years to meet tax and accounting requirements. Non transactional data is retained only as long as necessary for the purposes described.
While we employ industry standard safeguards, no system can be guaranteed 100% secure; you use the Service at your own risk.
User Responsibility: Keep your password and device secure. Bizzy is not liable for unauthorized access due to user negligence.
6. Your Choices and Rights
Account Deletion: Delete your account anytime in the app. We will deactivate and anonymize residual data unless retention is legally required or needed for fraud prevention and security.
Marketing Opt Out:
– Emails: click Unsubscribe link
– SMS: reply STOP
– Push: disable in device settings
Mandatory transactional or legal notices will continue.
7. 21+ Deals, 21+ Events, and Underage Use
Deals or Events labeled “21+” are restricted to users at least 21 years old. Users are responsible for age and ID verification. Bizzy disclaims liability for underage attempts to access restricted offers or entry.
8. Children’s Privacy
Bizzy is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we learn we have inadvertently collected such data, we will delete it promptly.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BIZZY ENTITIES ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OF THE SERVICE OR ANY MERCHANT DEAL OR EVENT.
10. No Guarantee of Service Availability
Bizzy may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, Deals, or ticketing features at any time without liability.
11. Savings, Listing Accuracy, and Exclusivity Disclaimer
Displayed discounts are Merchant supplied estimates; actual savings may vary. Event details are supplied by Event Operators or venues and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. Information displayed through the Service, including via the chatbot, may contain errors or omissions and may be updated without notice.
Bizzy cannot guarantee exclusivity or Merchant or Event Operator fulfillment; see Terms of Service for details.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This Policy is governed by Florida, USA law. Disputes shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration in Florida under AAA rules; no class actions permitted.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Policy at any time. We will notify you via email, in app message, or website notice. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
